Ambient Asylum

Ambient Asylum is an audio-visual installation intended as a sanctuary from the surrounding noise and disturbances. The installation consists of 8 semi-transparent acrylic walls illuminated by high-quality LEDs, creating a shield and a haven from the environment. The base of the installation functions as a bench, thereby providing a meditative and inspiring resting place for passersby. In addition to the visual expression, there is also a supplementary sound element, where slow, atmospheric sounds enhance the experience. The installation responds dynamically with sound and light when visitors sit on the bench, creating a unique, personal experience for each individual.
The interplay between light, sound, and interactivity aims to offer a sensory installation and an immersive overall experience for the audience, which calms and stimulates the senses at the same time.
